Tangram's Self-Insurance Division principals have extensive experience working with self-insured organizations on a nationwide basis. The Self-Insurance and Brokerage Services Division focuses on providing a comprehensive, knowledge-based approach to insurance brokerage services for targeted self-insured business segments. We deliver specific workers' compensation products and programs designed for qualified self-insured group (SIG) and individual self-insured (ISI) clients. Our knowledge of this market segment has allowed us to develop a unique approach, a "Strategic Risk Approach", that provides self-insureds with a powerful tool to solidify and enhance their programs' performance. Utilizing our Strategic Risk Approach, Tangram's staff is able to bring a fresh perspective to the Risk Management area.
The Strategic Risk Approach has been designed to integrate an organization's overall resources in controlling and reducing costs. This involvement is provided from both strategic and tactical levels and focuses on the direct and indirect costs of the client's program. We focus on working with clients to outline clear goals and needs with respect to their workers' compensation insurance program. Once these are established, we continually monitor the progress of the program and its' structure to ensure that goals and needs are continually integrated and aligned. This continuous review creates a measurement vehicle, enabling our clients to accurately determine compensation and assess the added value for their programs. Further, we work as the client advocate for issues with the broker, carrier or other third party as requested. This could involve claim resolution, third party performance audits, analysis or negotiation of coverage designs or simply keeping the process moving forward to meet strategic goals.
