Tangram Insurance Services is a full service managing general underwriter and alternative risk program manager. We
specialize in the development and management of traditional and alternative risk programs for groups and individual risks. We have extensive experience developing and implementing captive, rent-a-captive, and self-insured programs for groups, brokers and single entity risks.
Our name, Tangram, is taken from the ancient Chinese puzzle game based on a square that has been divided into seven simple geometric shapes – five triangles, a square and a parallelogram. These simple shapes can be creatively rearranged into an infinite number of alternative combinations that convey an array of ideas, thoughts, messages or meanings.
